Tedesca is Brigitte Hafner's farmhouse osteria in Red Hill, built around a wood-fired oven and grill. The operator offers a fixed-menu lunch from Friday to Monday and asks diners to allow at least three and a half to four hours. Tell the kitchen about vegetarian, pescatarian or gluten-free needs when booking; it cannot adjust the menu without advance notice.
Treat this as the day's main event. Book the lunch you want through the operator's current calendar and leave the afternoon open. Occasional special dinners are announced separately, so do not plan around a regular dinner service.
