Why we’d goA pre-pitched national-park stay inside the historic Quarantine Station precinct, with two-person and four-person options.
The pre-pitched, standing-height Discovery Tents sit in the Quarantine Station precinct of Point Nepean National Park. Two-person and four-person options share hot showers, a camp kitchen and a recreation room. Stretcher beds and mattresses are provided; bring pillows, bedding, a torch, food and your own cutlery, plates and cups.
The tents operate from September to April. Parks Victoria lists dedicated accessible tents but asks guests to discuss suitability before booking. Dogs, cats and other domestic animals are prohibited; Parks Victoria lists separate assistance-dog entry rules. Fires are prohibited in the campground. Check current park notices, availability and booking terms before travelling.
Choose a coastal or woodland site, then leave time for the Quarantine Station and park trails. Parks Victoria notes that some event weekends may be busier, so read the operator's current notices before settling on dates.
