Why we’d goThe enclosed upgrade over PHS Glamping, private geothermal water in your room or on your deck, and no shared amenities block between you and the thermal pools.
The Eco Lodges are the step up from PHS Glamping when thermal access is the whole point but canvas is not. Opened 2024, ten fully enclosed structures with private in-room geothermal hot spring baths (Springs Room) or private outdoor hot springs (Peninsula Suite). Breakfast buffet and a wellness activity are included.
The bathing-precinct access and age policy (16+) are identical to the glamping tents, you get the same 5am entry and the same Hilltop Pool sequence. What changes is the format: fully weatherproof, private bathroom, no shared amenities block. The price premium over glamping is paying for enclosure, privacy, and the in-room or on-deck spring.
Neither the glamping nor the eco lodge format accepts dogs or guests under 16.

If you only do one thing
Book the Peninsula Suite for the private outdoor hot spring on the deck, the extra spend over the Springs Room is worth it for the outdoor bathing in the morning air.
