Every Sunday in May at Mornington Peninsula Chocolaterie in Flinders. The session runs about 90 minutes: eight Rocky Road flavours to sample, a Rocky Road hot chocolate and ice cream, then you build a rocky road to take home. Three sessions a Sunday (11am, 12pm, 1:30pm), limited spots, book ahead.
Ticketed per person plus booking fee. Children and adults priced the same, which is fair given everyone gets the full kit.
The Flinders pairing is the obvious one: tasting first, then the pier walk, Flinders Truffles farm gate if it's open, late lunch at the pub. Indoor and weather-independent, useful insurance against a wet May Sunday.
