Cassis occupies a former restaurant and residence overlooking a neighbouring vineyard in Red Hill. Its five villas have different outdoor bathing setups: the Retreat and Cottage list heated mineral plunge pools; the Lodge, Terrace and Studio list outdoor baths. Compare the individual villa before you book, especially if a pool is why you came.
The layouts differ too. The Lodge and Retreat are split over two levels; the Terrace is single-level and has a separate study. Cassis lists a local continental breakfast hamper on the first day of a stay. Check current inclusions and access details with the operator when choosing a villa.
