Stonier's Pies & Pinot is the annual King's Birthday weekend the locals quietly book the rest of the year around. No bookings, no fuss, just the new-release 2025 Pinot Noir alongside three pies from Millers Bread Kitchen: Pinot duck, Chardonnay chicken, Chardonnay mushroom and tarragon.
The right play is Sunday lunchtime: arrive at 11:30, grab a pie and a glass, find a spot near the fire or out on the lawn. Walk it off with a lap of the vineyard. The Saturday Winter Wine Festival at Red Hill Showgrounds is the natural Saturday-then-Stonier pairing.
Dogs welcome, kids fine on the lawn, no need to over-plan. One of the easiest, most genuine cellar door days of the year.
