Soul Night Market on Sorrento Beach is the warmer-weather cousin of the Mornington version, and the setting is the whole pitch: bay edge, late-afternoon light, food trucks and makers as the sun drops.
It only runs on selected nights across autumn and spring, so check the date before driving down. Park up Ocean Beach Road or in the village and walk in (the foreshore carparks fill).
Make an evening of it: market for dinner, then a wine at Hotel Sorrento or the Continental. Sand surface means heels and prams struggle.
