Boneo Community Market runs the third Saturday of every month at the rec reserve, year-round, in whatever weather. It is genuinely make-it, grow-it, bake-it, which is the polite way of saying you will not find imported homewares dressed up as artisan. Proceeds prop up the local tennis club, cricket club and primary school.
Go if you live south of Rosebud or you are passing through on the way to the back beaches. Not a destination market. Bring cash, bring kids (animal farm, face painters, room to run), expect to be done in an hour.
The move: pair it with a Rye beach morning or a coffee at Cape Schanck on the way through.
