Shoreham Community Market is the unhurried third-Sunday-of-the-month version of a Peninsula market: arts and crafts, a music stage, kids' activities, a yoga class on the lawn, and food that doesn't pretend to be anything other than market food.
It runs September through May only (closed across winter), which makes the shoulder months the smartest visit. Park, wander, eat, walk down to Shoreham Beach for the back end of the morning.
Dog-friendly, pram-fine on the grass, no need to plan. Good for a slow Sunday when you don't want a crowd.
