Red Hill Truffles: Winter Truffle Hunt Season

Red Hill Truffles is the Peninsula's first truffle producer and runs the most polished winter hunt format on the ridge. Three public bundles: hunt with wood-fired pizza on the farm ($189pp, 3 hours), hunt with a two-course truffle lunch at Red Hill Estate Restaurant ($199 adults), or hunt with a gourmet lunch at The Epicurean ($195pp). Private hunts from $120pp with a $1,200 minimum.
Who it's for: foodies, family birthdays, anyone after a winter day out with real substance. Périgord black runs late May to August, Bianchetto August to September, and there is a summer truffle season too if you missed the main window.
The practical move: book at least three weeks ahead, the lunch bundles sell out first. Wear waterproof boots and warm layers, you'll be out in the oak grove for an hour regardless of weather. The Red Hill Estate bundle is the strongest value if you've not done Red Hill Estate before.
