Red Hill Brewery Secret Stash Weekend
Head Brewer David Golding pulls cellar-aged and rare beers (Imperial Stout, Pancho Mole, Christmas Ale, Temptation, Mulled Mead) for guided vertical tastings. Club members get first dibs.
Two days in mid-August where David Golding (Red Hill's head brewer) opens the vintage cellar and runs guided vertical tastings of beers most people have never tried: Imperial Stout, Pancho Mole, Christmas Ale, Temptation, Mulled Mead. Members of The Brewer's Secret Stash club book first, then it opens up.
For beer people this is the most serious craft event the Peninsula runs. The grounds are family-friendly during the day so partners and kids can wander while you sit the tasting, but the tastings themselves are adults only.
Wear warm layers, August on the ridge is genuinely cold. Pair with a lunch at Foxeys or a Polperro tasting and stay at the Brewer's Cottage on site if you want to drink properly.
