Orizome Workshop: The Japanese Art of Folding and Dyeing Paper

Drop in to make patterned paper with artist Jacky Cheng at Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery. The 17 October session is free, and the gallery asks visitors to register.

Artist Jacky Cheng introduces Orizome, a Japanese paper-folding and dyeing technique, at Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery on Saturday 17 October. The gallery says no previous experience is needed, all materials are supplied and visitors can drop in between 1:30pm and 3:30pm. The event is free, but the organiser asks people to register so it can plan attendance.

The gallery welcomes all ages and notes that children under eight may need adult help. The venue is at Civic Reserve, Dunns Road, Mornington. Check the organiser's event page for current registration and access arrangements before travelling.
