Pt. Leo Estate Sculpture Park

Australia's largest privately owned outdoor sculpture park: 16.5 acres, 60+ contemporary works, two walking loops, all set inside a working winery. Open daily 11am to 5pm.

Worth the drive First timer

Sixteen and a half acres of landscaped grounds wrapped around a working winery, planted with over sixty contemporary sculptures. There is a short loop (1.9km, about thirty minutes) and a long loop (3km, an hour), both gentle, both walkable in normal shoes. The collection is serious: international and Australian work that would not look out of place at the NGV.

The practical move is to arrive at 11am opening, walk the long loop while the light is good, then collapse into Pt. Leo's cellar door or Laura restaurant for lunch. Family pricing makes it the rare Peninsula cultural day that doesn't punish you for bringing kids. Bring sunscreen, hats, and proper walking shoes; the grass is the grass.

Open daily 11am to 5pm, last entry 4:30pm. $15 adult, kids under 12 free, $30 for a family of four.

Keep planning
