Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery - Autumn Exhibition
The Peninsula's most serious public art institution, running a rotating autumn exhibition calendar that's quietly one of the best regional programmes in Victoria.
MPRG (Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery) is the region's most serious public art institution and the Autumn 2026 exhibition programme covers contemporary Australian painting, a rotating photography wall, and a Peninsula-focused historical show in the side gallery. Entry is free.
The gallery sits on Dunns Road in Mornington, five minutes' drive from the Main Street restaurant strip. Allow 45 minutes to an hour, and pair with lunch in Mornington either side - the gallery fills the awkward post-lunch hour better than any cafe on the Peninsula.
For rainy-day weekends, MPRG + lunch on Main Street + an afternoon coffee is a complete three-hour loop that nobody needs to book.
