Exhibitions 28 February – 31 May 2026 One-off date

New Wave 26 at MPRG

MPRG's contemporary survey showcasing a new generation of Australian art practice. Free, Tue to Sun 11am to 4pm, running to 31 May.

Worth the drive First timer

An ensemble survey of where Australian contemporary practice sits right now, hung in MPRG's main rooms alongside the Michael Vale solo show. The two together justify a Saturday morning if the weather is doubtful or if you've been meaning to use the gallery and never have.

The show closes 31 May. Free entry, no booking, Tue to Sun 11am to 4pm. Plan ninety minutes for the show and another forty for the family activity space if you've brought kids.

Pair with lunch on Main Street and, if your timing is good, drop into TRACE at Lander-Se on the same loop.

Keep planning

Peninsula This Weekend 18 to 19 July

July sits in the quieter stretch of Peninsula winter, and that is the point. The lead booking is a truffle hunt at Red Hill. Sunday is for the sculpture park at Pt. Leo.
