Mornington Racecourse Market is the year-round answer to Red Hill (which goes quiet over winter). Second Sunday of the month, 300-plus stalls of hand-made and Australian-designed goods, street food, live music. Parking is $5 and dogs stay home (service dogs aside).
The move: arrive around 9:15am, do the food vendors before the queue, then the craft loop. The kids zone makes this a low-stress family Sunday. Heads up: occasional schedule shifts around race days, so check before driving from outside the Peninsula. The 10 May 2026 edition was cancelled for exactly this reason.
