Temptation Sailing operates half-day and full-day bay sails from Sorrento aboard classic sailing vessels, with wildlife-spotting sails, sunset sails, and skippered private charters available across Port Phillip Bay. The pace is slower than RIB-based wildlife tours, the vessel environment quieter, and the emphasis is on the experience of being under sail rather than guaranteed wildlife encounters. Private charter bookings allow custom departure times and itineraries.

What they are good at

Delivering an unhurried bay sailing experience with reasonable prospects of dolphin encounters along the way. The format suits guests who want sailing as the primary activity, not just a platform for wildlife photography. Good for couples, adult groups, and guests with an interest in sailing or the seamanship of crossing the Bay.

Not suited for

Families with young children under 5, or guests whose primary goal is a guaranteed close-up wildlife encounter (Polperro Dolphin Swims is purpose-built for that). Guests who are prone to seasickness should note the Bay is protected but swell is variable. Anyone wanting a fast-paced or adrenaline-forward experience will find this too relaxed.
