Skipper Mal and a 2024 24-foot Devil Cat catamaran out of multiple Peninsula ramps. Calendar built around the Oct to Dec snapper run; mixed-bag sessions through the rest of the year. Wheelchair-accessible vessel, family-friendly without sacrificing the technical fishing. Licence covered for the day.
Operating from Berth 1 at Sorrento Pier since 1991. The two vessels (60-foot Due South and 41-foot Strait Shooter) are the largest fishing-charter platforms in Victoria. Standard product is a five-hour bay session for snapper, whiting, and squid. The differentiator is what becomes possible at scale: 15 to 20 passenger groups, Bass Strait shark expeditions, multi-day King Island and Portland tuna runs.
Operating since 2004 with two trailer boats (8 passenger and 10 passenger) capable of running simultaneously across multiple Peninsula ramps. Lower per-person price band than the larger purpose-built charters. Suits mid-size groups of 11 to 18 who want everyone on the water at the same session time without booking a 60-foot vessel.
Captain Robin Gray's 50-foot Westcoaster flybridge out of Westernport Marina, Hastings. Western Port-exclusive operation: tidal channels, estuary margins, the species mix that Port Phillip Bay operators do not consistently target. Capacity for 20, the largest charter platform serving Western Port. Wheelchair accessible.

The 40-minute roll-on/roll-off ferry crossing between Sorrento and Queenscliff traverses Port Phillip Bay and connects the Mornington Peninsula to the Bellarine Peninsula. For adults, it is a practical route that bypasses the Melbourne ring-road. For children, it tends to become the most memorable part of the day.
Temptation Sailing's bay cruise departs Sorrento Pier aboard a classic sailing vessel for a half-day passage across Port Phillip Bay. The pace is deliberately unhurried: sailing is the primary experience, with wildlife encounters a welcome possibility rather than the focus. Dolphin sightings are common but not structured into the itinerary. Groups are capped at 18 to keep the vessel uncrowded.
