Coastrek Mornington Peninsula 2026

Team coastal hiking challenge for Beyond Blue, with 20km, 30km or 50km options across Point Nepean and Cape Schanck. Teams of two or more, 6am start.

Worth the drive

A team coastal hiking challenge raising money for Beyond Blue, with 20km, 30km and 50km options that string together the best clifftop tracks on the southern Peninsula. Teams of two or more, 6am start at Point Nepean, finish by sundown.

Who it's for: groups who actually train for it. The 20km from Sorrento to Point Nepean is the accessible option, the 50km from Cape Schanck is a serious day. Beyond Blue fundraising is the point, so most teams use it as a workplace or friend-group push.

The practical move: register a team early (entries sell out), train on the actual Point Nepean tracks in the weeks before, layer up for a coastal autumn morning. Book a Portsea or Sorrento stay for the night before, you do not want a 5am drive down. Dinner in Sorrento after.

Keep planning

Peninsula This Weekend 18 to 19 July

July sits in the quieter stretch of Peninsula winter, and that is the point. The lead booking is a truffle hunt at Red Hill. Sunday is for the sculpture park at Pt. Leo.
