Why a Pass
A regional editorial publication needs about three things to last: a desk that visits everything, a verification rhythm that holds up, and an income model that doesn't compromise the desk. Advertising covers some of it - visible, disclosed, every commercial relationship labelled. The Pass covers the rest, and lets us hold the line on what we'll never run.
If you read every weekly dispatch, save four venues a month, and would notice if we stopped publishing - the Pass is for you. If you don't, that's also fine; the editorial is open by default and stays that way.
