Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery has two exhibitions worth seeing in the same visit, both listed through 23 August. Helen Britton: The Story So Far brings painting, installation, jewellery, drawing and photography from the Australian Design Centre’s Living Treasures program. Alongside it, Natalia Milosz-Piekarska: Sifted Light turns Peninsula land and sea into sculptural and wearable jewellery.
The pairing gives the visit more shape than a quick gallery lap. Start with Britton’s retrospective, then let the smaller, coast-connected work in Sifted Light slow the pace down. It is a strong rainy-weekend plan with Mornington Main Street and the foreshore nearby afterwards.
