# The Peninsula, under canvas.

Find your stay by setting: hot springs, hinterland, a campsite you choose or Point Nepean.

## Four formats, four different trips.

These are alternatives, not a ranking. The right stay depends on whether you want bathing on site, a hosted rural tent, a chosen campsite or a simple park base.

### Peninsula Hot Springs Glamping

Choose this when bathing is the centre of the stay.

Garden-view, lake-view and secluded pavilion settings are listed. Current glamping packages include bathing across the Peninsula Hot Springs site.

**Before you reserve**

Compare the exact package and guest rules for your dates. Treatments, private bathing and dining are separate choices unless your booking includes them.

### Iluka Retreat Glamping

Choose this for an outdoor country stay.

Iluka sets up canvas bell tents among its hills and wetlands. Its current page welcomes couples and families. Tents are unpowered, with a shared powered kitchen and bathrooms.

**Before you reserve**

Confirm your tent and shared facilities. Activities and any visit to Peninsula Hot Springs need their own arrangements.

### Happy Glamper

Choose this when the campsite is part of the plan.

Happy Glamper pitches and furnishes a tent before arrival, then packs it down after your stay. Its usual hire flow requires a separate campsite reservation.

**Before you reserve**

Ask the operator to approve your dates and tent first, then reserve a suitable campsite. Its Balnarring Deluxe offering has a dedicated site arrangement, so check that package directly.

Portsea Pre-pitched park camping

### Point Nepean Discovery Tents

Choose this for a national park night with the tent already up.

Parks Victoria provides standing-height two- and four-person tents at the Quarantine Station from September to April. This is simpler camping with shared facilities, rather than a furnished retreat tent.

**Before you reserve**

Bring bedding, a torch, food and eating utensils. Check park rules and accessible-tent suitability before booking.

## Looking for a room instead?

Several appealing overnight stays sit beside this category. Their buildings and booking arrangements make them different choices.

### Peninsula Hot Springs Eco Lodges

Enclosed lodge rooms on the same grounds as the glamping tents. Private bathing facilities vary by room type.

### The Sanctuary at Alba

Villas and rooms with the separate Alba Thermal Springs operator. It is a thermal stay, not canvas accommodation.

### Retro caravans

A characterful alternative in Rye, but a caravan stay rather than glamping under canvas.

## The booking details that matter.

Check the operator's live terms before payment. Tents, campsites, bathing and treatments are not always part of one reservation.

### Are Peninsula Hot Springs Eco Lodges glamping?

No. The operator lists Eco Lodges separately from its glamping tents. Choose the lodges for an enclosed room and check the room-specific bathing facilities.

### Is bathing included with every glamping stay?

No. Peninsula Hot Springs lists site bathing with its glamping packages. Iluka, Happy Glamper and Point Nepean are separate from the springs; reserve any bathing visit separately.

### Do I need my own campsite for Happy Glamper?

Usually, yes. Submit a tent request, wait for approval and then book a suitable site. Ask about the separate Balnarring Deluxe arrangement if it suits your trip.
