**EAT - Main Ridge Dairy, Main Ridge**

Order the cheese board at Billies and give the dairy itself time to be more than a food stop. The goats graze on the Main Ridge property, and the milk becomes cheese there. That makes this a particularly clear way to taste something made on the Peninsula rather than simply sold on it. The dairy describes its fresh Cashmere curd as citrus-leaning and its Capony as a semi-hard, gently sweet cheese. Start with a board if you want to compare styles; the menu changes, so ask what is available on the day.

Main Ridge Dairy is at 289-295 Main Creek Road. Its [current visitor information](<https://www.mainridgedairy.com.au/>) lists Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, and Saturday until 5pm. Billies has a booking form if you want a table. Check the dairy’s updates before leaving on a public holiday. Pair the stop with a slower drive through Main Ridge rather than trying to fit it between timed bookings.

**WALK - Seawinds Gardens, Arthurs Seat**

Take the Summit Circuit for a spring walk with a definite destination: Chapmans Point Lookout. Parks Victoria describes the circuit through Seawinds Gardens and the summit picnic area as about one hour return. Its park guide points to both indigenous and exotic planting, and says trees and shrubs begin flowering in spring. Look at what is actually in bloom when you arrive; flowering varies with the weather. The Bay and Northern Lookouts give you other reasons to linger, while the garden paths offer a shorter option if you do not want the full circuit.

Access Seawinds Gardens from Purves Road near the Arthurs Seat summit. Bring water: Parks Victoria says drinking water is unavailable at the summit. Dogs are not permitted in the state park. Read the [park’s current conditions](<https://www.parks.vic.gov.au/places-to-see/sites/seawinds-garden>) before you go, and follow signs on site. Pair the walk with an unhurried picnic in the gardens rather than a second long trail.

**DISCOVERY - Pt. Leo Estate Sculpture Park, Merricks**

Go to Pt. Leo for the outdoor collection, then decide whether to stay for the cellar door. The estate’s [sculpture list](<https://www.ptleoestate.com.au/sculptures/>) includes work by Inge King, George Rickey, Deborah Halpern, and Jaume Plensa. Seeing these works outside lets you choose your own route and return to a piece from another angle. The park is the reason for the visit; wine and lunch are optional additions, not a requirement to make the art worthwhile.

The estate is at 3649 Frankston-Flinders Road, Merricks. It lists the Sculpture Park as open daily from 11am, with last entry at 4:30pm; [check its visitor information](<https://www.ptleoestate.com.au/faqs/>) for changes or private-event availability before you travel. Allow enough daylight to walk the grounds without rushing. If you want a tasting or a restaurant table afterwards, arrange that separately with the estate.
