Why we’d goThe most polished of the bayside breweries, deliberate fit-out, generous deck, and a rotating list that rewards repeat visits.
Jetty Road is the most polished of the bayside breweries, an industrial taproom fitted out with enough attention to feel deliberate, right next door to the Dromana drive-in, with enough space on the deck to absorb a weekend crowd. The core range sits in the accessible craft sweet spot, pale ale, lager, a session XPA, and the rotating list pulls in seasonal experiments the head brewer is willing to stand behind.
The kitchen does the brewery standards well: pizzas, burgers, share plates designed to be eaten with pints in hand. The outdoor area catches the sun most of the afternoon. Families are welcome, groups are easy, and the whole place runs at the friendly mid-volume that makes a weeknight visit as enjoyable as a Saturday. Dromana Hotel is next door if the group wants to split between a pub lunch and a brewery afternoon.
Use it as your bayside brewery default. It is closer to the beach than the hinterland breweries and the easiest one to drop into mid-day without a booking.
Worth knowing
If you only do one thing
Ask what is on the rotating taps, the seasonals are where the head brewer takes risks, and they are usually worth it.
